I graduated from the Technical University of Budapest with a degree in Electrical Engineering in 1995 and began my career in the field of production shortly thereafter. Employed by a multinational automotive company, I have acquired over 20 years of diverse professional and managerial experience across various functions within production areas such as machining and assembly, product project management, and ramp-ups of series production, while also directing the central lean office in both production and office environments.
In the early years of my career, I managed several production lines and delved into matrix projects, product projects, and a significant company development project, namely the introduction of a Process Management System. While working in the Production Planning department, I established and led a product projects coordinating organizational unit for four years. During this time, I worked closely with consultants from Shingijutsu, a Japanese consultancy firm, on a series of production preparation workshops (3P).
Since 2010, I have actively applied lean principles to series production processes, successfully optimizing production lines and manufacturing processes with my team, while continuously focusing on training and development.
Full-time engagement with Lean began in 2014 after participating in a learning journey in Japan, covering Lean Production and Lean Leadership. The trip was profoundly inspiring, exposing me to successful examples and the impactful Lean culture and mindset.
As the head of the central lean office, I was responsible for applying the production system in both direct and indirect areas, launching productivity improvement programs to help meet BSC goals. During my three years of international work experience in Germany starting in 2017, alongside my colleagues, we designed the concept of the brand group’s central Lean Leadership Program. Appointed as project manager, I led the implementation of this program in a blended learning format supported by digital tools.
I also supported strategy processes within the company and moderated workshops on strategy breakdown and target system development. I worked on SFM design and development projects in both production and office environments, aiding managers with Shopfloor Coaching methods to foster an effective learning process.
In 2021, I began a lean consultancy career to continue the development of processes and employee training.
Outside of work, I am a passionate LEGO model builder and collector.
