Since 2004, my professional role has been to supervise probationers, guiding them through the complexities of probation supervision to prevent recidivism and facilitate their societal reintegration. This role includes developing essential social skills and creating conducive conditions for their adjustment. In addition, since 2007, I have been actively involved in advocating for victims’ interests. As a mediator, I serve as an impartial third party, facilitating discussions between disputing parties who have consented to mediation. Through this problem-solving process, I aim to elucidate the conflict’s core issues and work towards a mutually satisfactory resolution.
At the core of my philosophy is the belief in proactive engagement and education to transform society. I focus on addressing the root causes of societal issues like crime by promoting comprehensive community involvement. This includes empowering youth, educators, and parents to actively participate in creating a safer, cohesive society.
Education is my primary tool for change, equipping young minds with knowledge of societal norms and the consequences of criminal behavior, while supporting the crucial roles of educators and parents in shaping young individuals’ values.
Additionally, I integrate Ashihara karate into my approach, using it to instill discipline, respect, and a sense of community. The dojo serves as a space for developing life skills and personal growth, advocating for perseverance, teamwork, and humility—key qualities for community well-being.
Driven by a commitment to be both a mentor and role model, I demonstrate that dedication to community health can profoundly impact society. My approach combines prevention, education, and active participation to build a culture where everyone contributes positively and leads a responsible, fulfilling life.
Since 2007, the Ashihara Karate Public Sports Association of Likócs in Hungary has been a robust organizer of international competitions, including the campaign “Sport against drugs! Let sport be your passion!” We consistently participate in a wide array of events that promote sports and healthy living, such as health markets, village fairs, and other community gatherings.
In 2014 and 2018, we successfully hosted the World Karate Championships, and due to our demonstrated excellence, we have been selected by the International Federation to organize the AIKO Ashihara Karate World Championships in 2024. Our association is deeply involved in prevention programs aimed at instilling healthy values in youth, particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds. These initiatives often include sports activities and mental training and are developed in close collaboration with local authorities, such as the Győr-Moson-Sopron County Department of Customs and Justice.
We conduct several crime prevention sessions in partnership with the Gy-M-S County Child Protection Centre in Hungary. Our involvement in their summer camps includes demonstrations and preventive sessions, where we invite children to join in our training, thereby imparting the values and discipline of martial arts to a younger generation.
